Sparkling WIne Tours
Also known as Champagne Tours, these tours are designed for fans of the bubbly! Imagine a day focused completely on tasting and expanding your knowledge of bubbly. The first sparklers can be traced to Sonoma and the Korbel Brothers first vintage in 1892 - done in the méthode champenoise. As a courtesy, we include a video courtesy of one of the sparkling wine houses in Sonoma, Gloria Ferrer.
Historic Wineries
Explore the rich heritage of both Napa and Sonoma valleys wineries. Our historical tour of Sonoma Valley visits four wineries and includes a picnic style lunch. In addition to tasting great wines, we provide education on the rich history and agriculture of this beautiful area.
Valley Wine Tours offers a variety of tours - and we’ll work with you to meet your special interests on a private tour.

New for 2012! Wine and Food Pairing Luncheon Experience
Enjoy the award winning wines from the Robledo Family Winery paired with a three course lunch prepared by Executive Chef Maria Robledo. The meal takes place outside the Robledo tasting room overlooking the Los Carneros AVA.
A typical menu for an authentic Mexican feast-wine pairing experience looks something like this:
- Green Chiles Quesadillas paired with Sauvignon Blanc
- Chicken Mole served with Pinot Noir
- Strawberry Flan and Fresh Sonoma Strawberries accompanied by Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc
You’ll really get to know the Robledo Family Winery with this true dining extravaganza!
Family-owned Wineries
We give you a real behind-the-scenes look at the consummate small business. Valley Wine Tours knows the owners and winemakers, the smaller wineries that aren’t easy to find. Small production, hand care make these visits memorable.
Tamales Bay Oyster Excursion
The Sonoma Coast is famous for many things, and none more important than its oyster beds in Tamales Bay. After a short drive through beautiful rolling hills, visiting gourmet cheese producers and the Point Reyes winery, we stop by the bay to enjoy fresh shucked oysters. Raw, BBQ and Rockefeller are all prepared tableside and presented with cheeses, bread, insalada caprese and sparkling wine (or Champagne). Time permitting, there is another winery visit or a stop to take in some of the local color.
